At the Zauberberg Schneesportschule, we offer skiing and snowboarding lessons for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. You can book private lessons, group courses, and specialized programs for children. Private lessons are also available during night operations. How many kilometers of slopes are there at Semmering?

At Semmering Hirschenkogel, there are around 14 kilometers of varied slopes, ranging from beginner hills to the World Cup course. Thirteen kilometers are illuminated for night skiing.

Can equipment be rented on-site?

Yes, there are two rental stations at Semmering: Sport2000 Puschi and the Semmering Ski School rental. For questions about equipment, prices, or availability, please contact the respective providers directly.

Are there ski or snowboard courses? How can I book them?

Yes, there are two ski schools at Semmering offering both group lessons and private instruction: Skischule Semmering and Schneesportschule Zauberberg. For questions about prices, bookings, or available dates, please contact the respective ski school directly.

Can you go skiing or snowboarding in the evening?

Yes, Semmering is known for its 6 illuminated night slopes. These are freshly groomed daily between 4 PM and 6 PM, ensuring excellent conditions even in the evening.

Can I ski or snowboard as a beginner at Semmering Hirschenkogel?

Yes, Semmering has a blue slope that is well-suited for beginners. However, for absolute beginners, we recommend the Happylift Semmering, located across from the valley station near the BILLA supermarket. Please note: the Happylift is an independent operator and requires separate tickets. You can find all information about the Happylift here.

Can I use ski passes from the Stuhleck ski area at Semmering?

Day and multi-day passes from Stuhleck are also valid at Semmering Hirschenkogel. However, passes from Semmering Hirschenkogel are not valid at Stuhleck.

Are the Ostalpen Card and Bergerlebnispass valid at Semmering? Can they be used for night skiing?

Yes, both the Ostalpen Card and the Bergerlebnispass are valid at Semmering Hirschenkogel. They can be used for both day and night skiing.
